Doug Hemingway

Owner/FSR Holder

Doug is the owner and founder of Hemingway Electrical Contracting. With over 20 years of experience in the industry, his knowledge and skills are unparalleled. He is well respected in both the electrical and construction industry and the Sunshine Coast community. Willing to take on any challenge, he’s an excellent problem solver and always puts customer satisfaction first. Doug’s attention to detail, especially in high-end custom homes, sets him apart from the rest.

A committed family man, Doug lives in Davis Bay with his wife Sarah, daughter, and two dogs. In his free time, Doug enjoys boating, mountain biking, skiing, and spending time with his family.

Luke Scott

Apprentice Electrician
Luke is the longest-standing Hemingway Electrical employee and has been working with us since the very beginning. He’s always eager to learn new skills and won’t stop until the job is complete. Luke’s attention to detail is one of his strongest assets, making his wiring work immaculate.
Cam Biddulph

Apprentice Electrician
Cam is known for his enthusiasm and quick thinking. He’s always asking important questions to improve his knowledge, understanding, and skillset.
Ethan Geue

Apprentice Electrician
Ethan brings fresh energy to the team. He’s always willing to learn and constantly seeks ways to improve his skill set. With a family background in construction, Ethan is at home on a job site and in work boots!
Sarah Ellison

Office Manager
Sarah is the one behind the scenes making sure that billing, admin, and schedules are up to date as well as sharing Hemingway Electrical Contracting moments on our social media accounts. She wears many hats and her attention to detail and exceptional customer service skills are a great asset to the team.

The support and creativity of Doug and his wonderful Team is so much appreciated.
